How to Retire a 10GB Company Profile (Before It Retires You)
OVERVIEW
Founded back in 2007, this engineering & fabrication company had the skills, the machines and the
people. What they didn’t have? A digital presence. In an industry where face-to-face meetings and
site visits were king, that worked… until it didn’t.
By the time the world shifted online, their “marketing” was a DIY flip file stuffed with office-printed A4s. Emailing a 10GB “profile” wasn’t going to cut it either (unless the client fancied crashing Outlook).
The result? Declining sales, no discoverability on Google and a big, fat question mark around their
future growth. They were still brilliant at engineering. They just weren’t being seen.
THE GOAL
Simple but vital: update the brand, step into the digital age and make sure people could actually find
them. The challenge? They’d never marketed before. This was going to be their first real leap into the world of logos, websites and all things “brand.”
READY? SET. TAKE FLIGHT!
We don’t arrive with a magic wand, but we do arrive with sass, strategy and a keen eye for design.
The transformation started with baby steps and grew into a full-blown glow-up:
• Logo Revamp: Out went the pixelated pulley image lifted from Google (we see you) and the
DIY text jammed next to it. In came a refreshed, modern logo with actual brand power.
• Vehicle Branding: Goodbye strange orange & silver combo. Hello vibrant blue, cyan and
yellow. Now their fleet doesn’t just show up, it shows off.
• Company Profile: The flip file retired. In its place: a polished, email-friendly profile with
creative copy that didn’t read like a machine manual.
• Business Cards: Heavy-weight GSM gloss beauties that said: “We’re not DIYing it anymore.”
• Digital Kickstart: Brand-consistent email signatures and signage. A proper Facebook Page
& LinkedIn profile. A Google Business Listing (so the internet finally knew they existed).
• Photography & Video: Some shot on iPhone, some on pro gear, all of it way better than the
blurry snaps from the workshop floor.
• The Website: After much persuasion (and a few “we don’t need it” debates), they finally took
the plunge. Their very first website went live. And yes, clients can now Google them without
coming up empty.
THE RESULT
The company didn’t just “update”, they rebuilt their professional image from the ground up. Suddenly, they were visible, credible and actually standing out in a tough industry. The tools were always there, they just needed the right polish.
Bird Visuals didn’t change what they do, we simply made sure the rest of the world could see it.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
